Ciao da Tramonti 2025
I’m happy to be part of the Ciao da Tramonti project with one of my illustrations dedicated to Movada, a village submerged after the construction of the dam for the artificial lake of Redona, in Val Tramontina.
When the reservoir is full, the stone skeletons of the houses still standing emerge. During dry periods, you can walk to the silent ruins of a village that endures underwater.
Ciao da Tramonti is a project born to tell the story of Val Tramontina through illustration, curated by Creazionindigeste and Cemont.
The result is a collection of 20 illustrated postcards, gathered in a box set distributed for free during the exhibition and in local shops. It also includes the winning works of the national Under-35 illustration contest, accompanied by texts in Italian, Friulian, Slovenian, and English.
Ciao da Tramonti is much more than a postcard collection: it’s an invitation to discover the valley through exhibitions, workshops, hikes, meetings, and a contest involving young illustrators from all over Italy.
