The Padua Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Teatro Stabile del Veneto, is launching a project aimed at secondary schools. The Pilot Project for theatrical training at the Calvi Technical Commercial Institute in Padua aims to educate students on the production of a show and the various professional roles involved.
The play is based on Ray Bradbury's novel Fahrenheit 451, depicting a dystopian society where reading or owning books is illegal. Firemen, instead of extinguishing fires, burn the homes of offenders. The protagonist, Guy Montag, begins to question his role after meeting Clarisse, a free thinker. Influenced by her, he discovers the hidden power of books, ultimately becoming a subversive figure sought by the authorities for his newfound beliefs.
